So we presented! I commented on the fact our presentations were a little different at the library than in class. For some, timing could have been better when handing out brochures, but overall I think our group was great in our timing. It helped that our project was all in hard copy, beside the PDF projected on the screen, because we focused toward our audience and passed out our information toward the beginning of the presentation. The only downside was the fact all the drawings I did were mostly included in the videos, but I understand for the sake of time it worked better to just present the map.
Moving on, I'm excited to start the next project! I'm thinking about illustrating a graphic novel involving someone or something going through the Glen Canyon Park area. This will be way in the future and I'm thinking all the experiences we had noted in our first project will be blown up, maybe out of proportion, for the character. Think: ferocious dog walkers, coyotes galore, a barely trickling (or overflowing) creek, et cetera.
