Alice Robertson

Today we woke up before 7 to go to the canyon. We walked up through the usual route and ran into a man and his little dog who was open to discussing his experiences at the canyon. We then ran into Janet thereafter who talked with us the remainder of our walk. There, we actually saw the mother coyote on top of the hill we were going toward. She looked over our heads where we could hear a dog barking and then took off across the rolling hills toward her young. Janet booked it down the hill as well beckoning us to follow her. We followed suit and ran past a woman with her two german shepherds looking really angry. Shortly after we passed her we saw the coyote howling and barking. We ran into a woman originally from Japan and her friend who joined us on the hill, and as we looked across the way noticed a group of dog-walkers staring up at us.
